The reason why this website is legitimate:
This website is legitimate because The Human Rights site takes accurate information from around the world about human rights violations. It was only on the library homepage underneath one of the pathfinders in Human Rights Violations.

Information about the topic that I learned:
Human Trafficking is found in every country even if that country has TVPA (Trafficking Victims Protection Act). Some countries are worse than others. It is a horrible violation of human rights and it needs to be stopped. Human Trafficking is a rising problem that is a fairly low-risk organization. Profiters often become very rich with the money they receive from the trade. In most cases, women as often the victims by a larger percent. Children also have a significant percentage in the trade. Men, make up a small precentage of the trade but in recent studies it has been seen that the percentage in men in human trafficking is rising. Human trafficking is in every continent (except Antarctica). Africa has the worst of it. In general I learned that human trafficking is a much greater problem than i orginally thought and it is a problem that needs to be delt with.

The reason why this website is legitimate:
This web site was a good website to use  because it showed a chart on how much human trafficking goes on in the world.

Information about the topic that I learned:
Every continent has human trafficking in it. Some continents has a law known as TVPA. Which stands for  Trafficking Victims Protection Act. Almost all of Europe, the USA, and Austrailia have this law in affect. A few countries in Africa, Asia, and South America have TVPA in effect. (See Trafficking Facts of the Continets for more info).
